Now we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) to help shape the future of our web experience. You’ll join our frontend team and work closely with designers, backend engineers and product team to build a fast, robust and delightful product interface.

This is an on-site position in our Copenhagen office (not remote).

The role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll be one of the technical anchors of our web team. You’ll drive architecture and implementation of new features, improve our frontend platform and help set the standard for quality, performance and developer experience.

You’ll work in a modern stack centered around React (v19+), TypeScript, Vite and MUI, and you’ll be involved from idea to deployment: collaborating on UX, shaping solutions, writing code, tests and helping ship value to customers.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture
  Help define and evolve the architecture of our React application: state management, module structure, performance, and patterns for building maintainable features.
  
  

• Build product features end-to-end
  Implement complex, user-facing functionality in React and TypeScript – from UI components to interactions and data flows.
  
  

• Own code quality and testing
  Write clean, well-structured code with automated tests (unit, integration and UI) to keep the app stable as we move fast.
  
  

• Improve our frontend platform
  Work with Vite, CI/CD and our tooling to make builds faster, deployments smoother and the developer experience better.
  
  

• Collaborate across disciplines
  Pair program with teammates, work closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to ship well-rounded solutions.
  
  

• Support project delivery
  Help plan work, break down tasks, manage trade-offs and keep projects on track from a frontend perspective.
  
  

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who is both technically strong and enjoys working closely with others in an office environment.

You likely recognize yourself in many of these:

Experience

• 7–10 years of professional experience in frontend / web development
  
  

• At least 5 years working with JavaScript/Node.js
  
  

• Deep experience with JavaScript and modern React (we’re using React v19)
  
  

• Solid experience with TypeScript in production
  
  

• Experience with testing on the frontend (e.g. Jest, Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress)
  
  

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications
  
  

• Experience with component libraries / design systems, ideally MUI
  
  

• Experience with modern build tooling, preferably Vite
